works.

Verified rides. Agreed fares. Shared journeys. The whole flow from search to drop-off, explained step by step for both sides of the trip.

Three principles.
Built into every trip.

RideFi isn’t a ride service. It’s a way to share journeys with people already going your way. These three principles shape every trip on the platform.

Verified identity badge with a government ID card and a selfie match check
01

Verified.

Every rider and every driver is identity-verified before their first trip. Government ID, selfie match, phone number confirmed. No anonymous accounts.

02

Agreed.

Fares are agreed upfront, before the trip starts. No surge pricing. No bidding. No surprises at drop-off. You know exactly what you’ll pay or earn.

03

Shared.

Real shared journeys with people heading your way. Not a chauffeur service. A way to travel together, split the cost, and reduce traffic on Lagos roads.

Five steps.
You’re at your destination.

From the moment you open the app to the moment you confirm drop-off, here’s what happens.

01

Search your route.

Enter where you are and where you’re going. RideFi shows you verified drivers already headed that way at the time you need to travel. Filter by departure time, vehicle type, or driver rating.

02

Choose your driver.

See driver profiles with photo, name, rating, vehicle, and route match. Read reviews from other riders. You pick who you ride with, not an algorithm. Match on what matters to you.

03

Agree the fare.

Fares are shown upfront before you confirm. No surge pricing, no bidding, no hidden fees. You see the exact amount and decide whether to ride. Pay via card, transfer, or in-app wallet.

04

Meet and ride.

Get walking directions to the pickup point. Track the driver in real time as they approach. At pickup, confirm their identity in-app before getting in. Enjoy the ride.

05

Confirm and you’re done.

At drop-off, you both confirm completion. Payment auto-releases from your wallet. Rate your driver so the next rider has better information. Done.

Five steps.
You’ve earned for the day.

Driving with RideFi means you choose your route, your riders, and your hours. Here’s the full flow from posting a trip to payout.

01

Post your trip.

Share where you’re starting from, where you’re going, and when. Add how many seats you have available. Set your fare, or use the RideFi suggested fare for your route.

02

Review the requests.

Riders heading your way send requests. See their full profile, rating, pickup location, and how many people. All identity-verified. You decide who works for you.

03

Confirm the riders.

Accept who fits your trip. Decline anyone you’re not sure about, no questions asked. RideFi doesn’t force matches. You’re in control of who joins your car.

04

Pick up and drive.

At pickup, confirm each rider’s identity in-app. Drive your route. Use in-app messaging for any coordination. Focus on the road, the app handles the rest.

05

Get paid immediately.

At drop-off, both sides confirm completion. 88 percent of the agreed fare lands in your in-app wallet within seconds. Withdraw to your bank account anytime, no fees, no waiting.

Trust at every
step of the trip.

Safety isn’t a feature bolted on at the end. It’s built into every part of the flow.

First-time identity verification step with a government ID and selfie match

Before the first trip.

Every user verifies their government ID and matches their face to it via selfie. No anonymous accounts on the platform, ever.

At the pickup.

Riders and drivers confirm each other’s identity in-app before the ride starts. Tap to confirm matches the face on file. If something feels wrong, cancel before getting in.

After the trip.

Both sides rate each other. Low ratings trigger reviews. Verified accounts that misbehave get suspended. The system learns who to trust.
