Verified Lagos commuters sharing a carpool in a Toyota along a busy mainland road at sunrise

Every day, millions of Nigerians make the same journeys. Alone.

A frustrated solo commuter waiting in a long Lagos bus queue while empty seats pass by in other cars

The 5am queue.

You leave before sunrise to beat the crowd. By the time you arrive, the queue is 200 people long. The buses are not enough. They never are.

The bus that waits to fill.

You arrive at the park at 7am. The driver is there. The bus is there. You are not going anywhere until every seat is taken. Could be 20 minutes. Could be two hours.

The surge at 8am on a Monday.

You open the app. ₦7,400. You open the other app. ₦6,800. You book anyway. You add it to the list of things you try not to think about too hard.

₦80,000 a month. Alone.

You drive the same route every weekday. Full fuel cost. Three empty seats. Someone in your estate is making the exact same trip. You have never been connected.

The commute is not broken. The infrastructure around it is. RideFi builds that infrastructure.

One app. Two ways to use it.

For Riders

Verified rides on your daily route.

Skip the surge. Skip the queue. Find a verified driver already going your way, agree the fare upfront, and split the cost. Same route as you would have taken anyway, at a fraction of the price.

You already drive this route. The empty seats in your car are costing you money. RideFi turns them into income. Set your fare. Set your visibility. Keep 85% of every trip.

Simple for riders. Straightforward for drivers.

What early users are saying.

Portrait of Folake, a Lagos car owner who carpools the Lekki to Victoria Island route
I drive from Lekki to VI every day alone. The empty seats in my car have been costing me money for three years. RideFi finally makes sense of this.

Portrait of Emeka, a Lagos commuter who rides RideFi between Ajah and Marina
I take the same Ajah to Marina route every weekday. Paying Bolt or Uber prices for it was unsustainable. Splitting the cost with a verified driver going the same way is the thing I did not know I was waiting for.

Portrait of Nuhu, a Lagos church transport coordinator who organises Sunday carpools
Our church transport coordinator has been managing Sunday rides through WhatsApp for years. RideFi Groups gives us structure we never had time to build ourselves.

I run an estate group in Ibadan with twelve neighbours. Coordinating school runs and morning office drops on WhatsApp used to be chaos. With RideFi, every trip is logged, verified, and paid in-app.
