Four Nigerian neighbours meeting beside a car at an estate gate at sunrise, ready to share the morning commute

A private ride community
inside a verified platform.

A group is a community of verified RideFi users.

Every member completes identity verification (government ID and live selfie) before joining. You are not carpooling with anonymous strangers, but with verified members of your specific community.

Groups can be public for anyone to find and join, or private with admin approval.

Members post and join trips within the group.

Drivers in the group post trips. Riders find and book them. Booking, payment, and confirmation all happen in the app. Not in a WhatsApp chat, not in cash, not in a spreadsheet.

Members get notified when a trip is posted on a route they use. No more checking in manually.

Whatever brings your community together,
RideFi connects the journey there.

Colleagues from a Yaba tech hub sharing the workplace commute together

Workplace Commutes

The office carpool, minus the awkward chat.

Colleagues who commute from the same area are the perfect carpooling community, they have the same schedule, the same destination, and built-in trust. All they were missing was the platform.

Example

'Yaba tech hub employees commuting from Surulere, Maryland, and Gbagada, one group, multiple daily trips, agreed fares, no cash.'

Neighbours from a Lekki estate gathered by the gate for a morning Island commute

Estate Groups

Your neighbours are going your way.

Every large Lagos estate has dozens of people making the same daily trip to the Island. They have lived beside each other for years and never shared a car. An estate group on RideFi changes that permanently.

Example

'Chevron Estate Lekki morning commute group, 34 verified members, 12 regular drivers, 6 trips posted every weekday morning.'

University students sharing a ride along the Bodija to UI corridor

Campus Commutes

The school to home routes, sorted.

Students and staff making the same campus commute every day, the weekend journey home, the daily routes nobody has organised because nobody wanted to be the one to organise it. RideFi Groups makes that effortless.

Example

'UI Department of Law students share the Ring Road commute Monday through Friday. 8 members. Posted by whoever is driving first.'

Members of a Lagos church arriving together at a Sunday service car park

Church Rides

The Sunday carpool, organised.

Every Sunday, hundreds of people travel from the same estates to the same churches across Lagos and Ibadan. Most of them go separately. RideFi Groups connects them before they leave home.

Example

'20 members of RCCG Lekki Region now share the journey to Holy Ghost Service every Friday. No coordinator required.'

Members of a RideFi group inside the platform's safety system, identity-verified with mutual pickup confirmation

Community trust plus platform verification.
Both. Always.

Groups do not bypass RideFi’s safety system. They sit inside it.

Every group member completes identity verification. Mutual pickup confirmation and the SOS button work in group trips exactly the same as in regular trips.

Being in the same group doesn’t mean you skip the safety infrastructure. We don’t assume that either.

Members of a newly-founded RideFi Group celebrating a permanent founding-group badge

Your community is already out there.
Give it a home.

RideFi Groups is free to create and free to join. The first groups in your workplace, estate, campus, or church to set up before June 12 get Founding Group status, with a permanent badge on the group profile.

Groups are free. Trips are subject to the agreed fare between driver and rider.
